Following its initial August premiere confirmation, Netflix finally announced the official release date of Kimi ni Todoke Season 3.
To be exact, the long-awaited new season will premiere on August 1, 2-24. This was confirmed in the anime’s second trailer that was shared on the Netflix Anime official pages.
Aside from showing off new clips, the trailer also previews the third season’s opening song “et cetera” by the popular Japanese singer imase.

Kimi ni Todoke is no doubt an anime that many fans from the late 2000s know and love, especially for those who love watching shojo romance shows.
Despite its popularity, the series only got two seasons back when it first aired. On the flip side, the original manga did at least continue until it concluded back in November 2017.
Given that it has been years since the manga ended, the anime’s third season renewal came as a surprise to many. What delighted fans even more is that the show retains the previous two seasons’ iconic art style as it is also being produced by Production I.G. On top of this, the OG voice cast is also returning to voice their characters.
While the Kimi ni Todoke Season 3 Netflix release date is official, it’s not clear if all episodes will be released in one day or if it will have a weekly release schedule.
