After bringing the game to the Philippines recently at PGDX, the fourth Atlus Exclusive was released, and it showed off the supporting cast of the upcoming RPG Metaphor: ReFantazio.
While previous showcases for Metaphor: ReFantazio focused on gameplay and the main party, this latest one puts the spotlight on characters that will also play big roles in the story. Some of these are friendly faces while others are rival candidates in the protagonist’s quest for the throne.

Recently, we got to try out a demo of the Metaphor: ReFantazio, and there, we got to meet one of the supporting cast members named Catherina in a side quest. This pink-haired character also appears in the new showcase, and it’s revealed that she’s also candidate who pledges to make the Paripus race wealthier.
Catherina, along with the other supporting characters shown in the Atlus Exclusive are sort of like Social Links from the Persona series in that getting closer to them will unlock Archetypes for the player which will come with unique skills.
Based on the showcase, these characters will play key roles in the story, meaning players will see them plenty of times throughout the game’s story.
Metaphor: ReFantazio will be released on PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X|S, and PC on October 11, 2024.
