After announcing its launch last week, OPPO has finally released the new Reno12 Series 5G in the Philippines, including the base Reno12 5G and the Reno12 Pro.
This latest Reno series from OPPO promises to once again deliver excellent photography capabilities, especially for portrait shots. Though for the Reno12 Series 5G, OPPO’s key highlight is their wealth of AI-assisted features that promise to enhance the phone’s cameras and connectivity.
Among the AI features of the new lineup is the AI Eraser 2.0, the revamped version of OPPO’s AI Eraser which is now smartly able to remove unwanted objects or people in the background for your perfect shot. Also included is the AI Studio app which creates an array of unique themed photos for users through the power of GenAI. Other related features include the AI Portrait features which enhanced AI photos, along with AI LinkBoost which promises that the phones in the lineup will have great connectivity even in more challenging situations.
Powering the new OPPO Reno12 Series 5G is the MediaTek Dimensity 7300-Energy for Reno mobile platform. The phones also have AMOLED screens and large batteries, with the base model having a 5,000mAh battery with blazing-fast 80W SUPERVOOC fast charging.
Plus, their cameras also promise to impress as the Reno12 5G and OPPO Reno12 Pro 5G both pack a 50MP Sony LYT-600 Main Camera, an All Pixel Omni-Directional PDAF and OIS, and a 112° Ultra-Wide Camera with Sony IMX355 Sensor.
The OPPO Reno12 5G is priced at PHP 24,999 and comes in Astro Silver, Sunset Pink and Matte Brown. Meanwhile the OPPO Reno12 Pro 5G has an SRP of PHP 34,999 and comes in Nebula Silver and Space Brown.
Pre-orders for the phone are available now until July 19 in all OPPO authorized offline stores nationwide. All pre-orders of the OPPO Reno12 Series 5G will come come with a free S29 Night Light Bluetooth speaker.
