Infinite Wealth delighted plenty of fans, and now, it seems fans are in for another treat with the next game from RGG Studio that’s set to be revealed at Tokyo Game Show 2024.
While RGG Studio hasn’t mentioned what game will be revealed exactly, the studio did confirm at Anime Expo 2024 that an announcement is planned for this year’s TGS. The only thing that they mentioned is that it may be a surprising announcement from fans.
In a report by VGC, it’s believed by some fans who attended Anime Expo 2024 that the upcoming reveal may be a new Like a Dragon game, or maybe even a third Judgment game. Of course, it may also be another game that’s not in RGG’s signature franchise.
RGG Studio announcing its next game is a bit surprising given that the studio is fresh off the successful launch of Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth. Given the game’s success though, it makes sense why they’d want to continue the excitement for the series via a new game announcement (that is if it turns out to be a new Like a Dragon game).
If you ask us, we’d love to see a new spinoff game like Gaiden, though hopefully with a different character. A third Judgment game will also be welcome, as long as it brings back Yagami.
Thankfully, the wait won’t be long as Tokyo Game Show 2024 kicks off on September 26, meaning we only have to wait a bit over two months before RGG Studio’s reveal.
