Alongside the new 6 series foldables, Samsung also unveiled the new Galaxy Watch7 and Galaxy Watch Ultra during the Unpacked event.
Much like the new phone lineup, Samsung’s latest Galaxy wearables have the theme of AI. To be exact, the new devices feature connectivity with Samsung’s AI-powered smartphones.
To start, we have the Galaxy Watch7 which comes in 40mm and 44mm options. This new smartwatch packs an array of fitness and health features. With the Workout Routine feature, the watch has over 100 workouts that users can take advantage of while exercising. What’s more, the watch also features a Body Composition function to help users understand their body better so that fitness routines can be better tailered.
There’s also a more advanced AI algorithm for sleep analysis, along with the De Novo FDA-authorized Sleep Apnea feature which can check for potential signs of sleep apnea. Aside from sleep tracking, the watch also has a range of health trackers, including ECG and Blood Pressure monitoring.
Another interesting feature of the Watch7 is its AGEs Index which tracks advanced glycation end products that are said to reflect someone’s biological aging process and are an indication of metabolic health.
Next is the Watch Ultra which is the higher-end model that comes with plenty of the health and fitness features that a user would need, all while adding a bevy of premium features.
For instance, the watch has a new cushion design and a Dynamic Lug System which should make it more comfortable to wear. It also has with a Titanium Grade 4 frame and 10ATM water resistance, meaning it can withstand depths of 500 meters to altitudes of 9,000 meters. This should make it a good partner even in extreme conditions.
Other features include the Functional Threshold Power (FTP) for tracking cycling power, an advanced Personalized HR Zone that tailors workouts based on a user’s capabilities, and an Emergency Siren for safety.
As for their prices, the Samsung Galaxy Watch7 and Watch7 Ultra have the following SRPs:
