After sharing new gameplay details earlier this month, SEGA introduced a new stage in Sonic X Shadow Generations. To be exact, this new stage will be playable in Shadow’s campaign.
This newly revealed stage is called Kingdom Valley, and it features crumbling castles and a beautiful yet perilous lakeside landscape. To reach the goal, Shadow must ride on eagles and wander through on to the Wind Path.
Only two screenshots were shared for this new Sonic X Shadow Generations stage, but from the looks of it, this stage, looks straight out Sonic Frontiers, making it a nice contrast to the other Shadow levels that were shared in recent showcases.
Also highlighted was the Legacy Skin for Sonic. This skin transforms Sonic into a more pixelated version that’s straight out of Sonic Adventure. As such, this should be a treat for classic Sonic fans who want some extra nostalgia for their playthrough.
To get this skin, players should pre-order the game’s Nintendo Switch version on the Nintendo eShop. This skin will also be available for those who pre-order the game’s Digital Deluxe Edition on other platforms.
Sonic X Shadow Generations will be released on PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X|S. Xbox One, Switch, and PC via the Steam and Epic Games Store on October 25, 2024
