Com2uS recently unveiled the upcoming Summoners War: Chronicles and Neon Genesis Evangelion collab that’s set to go live this week.
To be exact, this new collab will kick off on July 11, and it will feature Evangelion’s iconic trio of Shinji, Asuka, and Rei. They are also joined by Mari Illustrious Makinami from the Rebuild of Evangelion movies.
As revealed in the collab’s preview video, these four Eva pilots will make their way to the Alea continent through a dimensional storm. There, they will protect the Rahil Kingdom against an Angel who appeared suddenly. The four characters are shown alongside other Chronciles characters.

What’s cool about the preview is that players are given a preview of what to expect with the Eva characters in the game. Specifically, the four characters will appear as collaboration Monsters, and they wield various weapons that fans of the anime should be familiar with, including the “Lance of Longinus,” “Progressive Knife,” and “Pallet Rifle.”
Given Evangelion’s popularity, the anime has continued to be a popular collaboration partner for many games. For instance, Tower of Fantasy also had an Eva collab a few months ago. As such, it’s no surprise that Summoners War: Chronicles is getting an Eva crossover.
