Ubisoft announced that The Crew Motorfest Season 4 is now live as a free update, bringing with it lots of new content and events. To celebrate the new season, there’s also an upcoming Free Weekend for the game happening from July 4 to 8 on PlayStation and PC, with the Xbox Free Weekend scheduled for the following week.
The highlight of this new season is the “Donk vs Lowrider” Playlist where players can choose between one of these two iconic car cultures. As part of this playlist, there are new gameplay features like the “Car Dance”, a rhythm-based game mode for Lowriders’ unique abilities, and the “Street Versus”, a performance-based mode between Donk cars on a dragstrip.
By completing the playlist, players will unlock the following cars:
- Buick GNX El Sereno Lowrider Edition (Street T1)
- Buick GNX West Side Lowrider Edition (Street T1)
- Chevrolet Caprice Weasel D. Customs Donk Edition (Street T1)
- HOONIGAN Chevrolet Caprice Donk (Street T1)
Along with these cars, there will also be unlockable dashboard figures, along with appearances from notable figures in the automotive scene during dedicated weeks such as Ring Brothers, Yiannimize, KRC Japan, and Liberty Walk.
Then, on August 14, there will be a second playlist called “Off-Roading Addict Vol. 2” which will let players explore the wild side of the island of O’ahu in Hawaii.
Other additions include 29 new vehicles, including the Audi RS6 Avant (Street T2), the Buick GNX (Street T1), and more. Plus, new quality of life and quality of service features are added in Season 4. More details about these can be found in the official blog post.
Finally, the Free Weekend will be available from July 4 to 8 on PlayStation and PC, with Xbox players getting access from July 11 to 15.
This is not the first time that The Crew Motorfest was made available for free, though this is a must-try for racing game fans who have yet to give Motorfest a shot. As a bonus, players who have already used their five hours of Free Trial or participated in other free campaigns can still get to participate.
The Crew Motorfest is available on PS5, PS4, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Ubisoft Connect, Steam and the Epic Games Store.
