OPPO recently issued its last call for the imagine IF Photography Awards 2024 which is accepting entries until July 28, 2024.
In case you’re unfamiliar, the imagine IF Photography Awards was launched back in January, and it has gotten over one million submissions from 73 countries and regions. This is a photography competition that aims to showcase an array of cultures and traditions from around the world.
While entries were accepted as early as January 17, OPPO highlighted recently that budding photographers can still submit their works until July 28, 2024.
Given the number of entries, the winners will be announced in early September. The grand prize winner will receive USD 24,000 along with a package featuring OPPO’s flagship phone, earphones, and smartwatch.
Meanwhile, the second and third place winners will each receive USD 9,800 and USD 2,800, respectively, with both also getting a Find X7 Ultra.
Finally, there’s an honorable mention award with a USD 280 and Find X7 prize. As a bonus, there’s a special youth award for entries by photographers aged 18-24, with the winner getting a Find X7 and USD 1,400.
Aside from the imagine IF Photography Awards 2024, OPPO has also held an array of themed activities aimed at photographers in the first half of 2024. These include the ‘Road to Paris’ campaign which invited users to portray mothers for Mother’s Day. There’s also the ‘In Sync with the World’ campaign which sought images that portrayed exploration across the world
That’s not all though as OPPO also revealed its Discovery Channel collaboration for the ‘Culture in a Shot’ program. This program has so far put the focus on traditional crafts and musical instruments in a series of images taken in Northern Thailand.
