The OPPO Watch X is now available for Php 18,999

OPPO finally releases a couple of premium wrist candies.

OPPO Philippines just silently  released of what could be the brand’s most premium smartwatch to date, the OPPO Watch X. Departing from the usual band-type of wearable devices, the OPPO Watch X follows the more conventional circular watch and piles on a ton of tracking features.

The watch has a large 47mm dial (1.43″ AMOLED screen), polished stainless steel body, a 2.5D Sapphire Glass protection, and has a working dial and a quick-action button that’s slightly tucked in further to for quick access and to avoid possible mistouches. The device also sports an elastomeric band and comes in two eye-catching colorway: Mars Brown or Platinum Black. There’s a simplistic elegance to the design that fuses suave luxury and powerful performance.

Under the hood, the OPPO Watch X is powered via a dual-engine architecture with a 4nm Qualcomm Snapdragon W5 Gen 1 Wearable Platform processor along with a BES2700 to boost processor efficiency. Best of all, the watch runs on Google’s Wear OS 4 integrating all your Google Apps seamlessly into your device. Do take note that the OPPO Watch X, at least according to the brand, is only compatible with smartphones and devices with Android 8.0 and higher. It does not integrate with iOS and Android Go.

One of the key unique sports tracker that the OPPO Watch X has that other smartwatches may not have (yet) is their proprietary Badminton Sports Tracker. According to the brand, the smartwatch can track your Swing speed, power, forehand, backhand, and other important data. There’s a gamification of sorts that I appreciate as well. Where the smartwatch tallies your performance and creates a stat diagram. It feels very RPG-ish if I’m being honest.

Lastly, the OPPO Watch X has a large 500mAh internal battery with, apparently, SUPERVOOC charging capabilities as well. The watch can run up to 100 hours continuously on smart mode and can go up to 12 days in battery saving mode. An hour of charging can charge the smartwatch from 0-100 or if you don’t have an hour, 10 minutes could give you about a day of power. Not bad.

The OPPO Watch X is priced at Php 18,999 but you can get it for about Php 800-Php 1,000 cheaper via Lazada if you use any of the store vouchers. The watch is also currently being bundles with the OPPO Reno12 5G and OPPO Reno12 Pro 5G wherein you can save up to Php 3,000 for both the smartphone and the smartwatch combined.
