Ateam Entertainment recently revealed the new Valkyrie Connect and Mushoku Tensei Season 2 collab which is live now until the end of July.
While Mushoku Tensei’s second season ended just a few weeks ago, fans can at least look forward to a third season which was confirmed to be in the works following the season 2 finale. To make the wait a bit more bearable, fans can check out the Valkyrie Connect RPG as its collab brings Rudeus, Eris, Roxy, and Sylphiette into the game, complete with exclusive outfits.
Among the main highlights of the collaboration is the introduction of Enlightenment, a new growth mechanic that changes a hero’s appearance and Action Skill animation. It also increases their stats.
In the game, Rudeus is capable of Enlightenment, meaning players who get him will be able to test out the new mechanic. As for how to get Enlighten Rudeus, players will be able to obtain Awakening Stones (Rudeus) and Enlightenment Unlock Runes (Rudeus) as rewards from Rudeus Strikes! (Emperor-class) beginning on July 22. By combining these with Skill Crystals (Earth) and Boost Potions, Rudeus can be Enlightened.
Aside from changing his appearance, Rudeus will also get stronger Action Skills, along with a new Passive Skill called “Eye of Foresight.”
Finally, the new collab will also feature original voice lines from the Mushoku Tensei characters that should delight fans. That’s because the characters’ VAs from the anime reprise their roles. These include Konomi Kohara (Roxy), Ai Kakuma (Eris), and Ai Kayano (Sylphiette).
The Valkyrie Connect x Mushoku Tensei collab event will be live from July 16 to 31, 2024.
