Fresh after revealing its new foldables, Xiaomi has now launched the new OpenWear Stereo wireless earbuds in the Philippines.
For years now, Xiaomi has released an array of audio accessories that are competitively priced while promising good quality. This latest one is no exception as the OpenWear Stereo aims to deliver great audio quality while still being fairly affordable. What makes it different though is its open-ear design.
Yes, the open-ear design means it’s not like your typical in-ear earbuds, meaning it should be more comfortable to wear for longer periods, especially for those who find the more typical in-ear design to hurt after a while.
Given that it does not have eartips, the OpenWear Stereo promises a secure fit with its ear hook made with liquid silicone and nickel-titanium shape-memory alloy.
The earbuds are also made with calls in mind as they have dual-mic noise reduction. What’s more, battery life also shouldn’t be an issue as Xiaomi touts the earbuds’ ability to last for 7.5 hours of continuous playback, and 38.5 hours in total with the charging case.
Other features of these earbuds include IP54 dust and water resistance, customizable touch controls, and seamless connectivity with other Xiaomi devices.
In the Philippines, the Xiaomi OpenWear Stereo will be available in the brand’s official Lazada and Shopee stores for a special sale price of PHP 5,699 from July 27 until July 31, 2024. Meanwhile, its SPR is PHP 6,199.
