At the 2024 Lei Jun Annual Speech at ShouGang Stadium, Xiaomi unveiled the MIX Fold 4 and MIX Flip, the brand’s latest foldable phones.
The first of these new devices is the MIX Fold 4, the latest in Xiaomi’s MIX Fold line that’s more of a tablet and phone hybrid like many of today’s popular foldables. This newest model packs a 7.98-inch AMOLED folding screen, with a 6.56-inch cover display with a 21:9 aspect ratio.
Powering the phone is a Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset, with up to 16GB of RAM. It also has a 5100 mAh battery with 67W wired fast charging support.
As for cameras, the phone has a 50MP wide + 50MP 2x telephoto + 10MP 5x telephoto + 12MP ultrawide rear camera setup, with a 16MP shooter on the cover screen and a 16MP camera on the main foldable screen.
The MIX Flip is perhaps the more exciting device though as it’s a new clamshell foldable that’s reminiscent of devices like Samsung’s Galaxy Z Flip and OPPO’s Find N3 Flip phones, though what sets the MIX Flip apart is its all-screen cover.
This foldable packs a 4-inch cover screen that takes up pretty much the entire cover, making for a proper all-screen look when folded. When unfolded, you’ll see the phone’s 6.86-inch main screen.
Much like the Fold, the MIX Flip is powered by a Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset, and it has a 4780 mAh battery. As for cameras, this phone has a 50MP wide and a 50MP 2x telephoto, with a 32MP selfie camera on top of the main display.
