Zoids anime hints at new project for 25th anniversary celebration

Fingers crossed that this means we'll get a new Zoids anime soon!

The Zoids anime’s official X (formerly Twitter) account revealed a new teaser for an upcoming 25th anniversary project.

This teaser consists of a video and a visual, with the video also being shared on YouTube. While it’s not a trailer for a new anime, it does feature the popular characters from the first Zoids anime series. Along with the characters, Zeke’s signature Blade Liger also gets the spotlight.

It’s not clear what the 25th anniversary project will be, though some fans are hoping that it will be a new anime series, or at least an OVA that features the characters of the first Zoids anime.

Of course, it might also be a new line of model kits based on the original anime. If you ask us, this is another likely way to celebrate the 25th anniversary given that Zoids continues to get throwback releases.

What is clear is that the anniversary celebration will begin this August, meaning we should get more details in the coming weeks.

Zoids: Chaotic Century is the first anime series in the mecha franchise by Takara Tomy. This anime consists of 67 episodes, and it aired between September 1999 to October 2000.

Since then, Zoids has gotten four more anime shows, with the latest being Zoids Wild which was aired in 2018 to 2019.
