After it was unveiled at Computex back in June, ASUS ROG finally announced the price and release date of the ROG Azoth Extreme in the Philippines.
In case you missed its reveal, the Azoth Extreme is a custom 75% gaming keyboard that comes with a premium price tag. How premium? Well, its SRP is nearly PHP 30k!
So, what makes it so expensive? Well, the Azoth Extreme packs a ton of premium features and uses premium materials for its build. To be exact, it has a precision-crafted aluminum-alloy chassis with a metal frame, along with a carbon-fiber positioning plate to keep keystroke vibrations at a minimum. It also features an adjustable gasket mount that offers a toggle for a hard or soft typing feel. Plus, it has an OLED touchscreen at the top right for system info and settings, complete with a three-way knob to control volume, multimedia, and lighting adjustments.
Yes, this is also a wireless keyboard with an 8000 Hz polling rate when used with the ROG Polling Rate Booster. Plus, ASUS ROG states that the keyboard can offer up to 1600 hours of battery life. As for actual connectivity, it supports ROG SpeedNova 2.4 GHz RF wireless, Bluetooth, or standard wired USB.
In the Philippines, the ROG Azoth Extreme will be released in September 2024, and it is priced at PHP 28,880. It will be released in ROG partner retailers nationwide.
Given its price tag, this gaming keyboard isn’t for everyone, but for those who want to shell out big bucks for a top-of-the-line keyboard for both gaming and productivity needs, the Azoth Extreme might be worth a look.
