While the game’s initial launch is next month, Capcom announced that the Dead Rising Deluxe Remaster will get a physical release in Southeast Asia this November.
The Dead Rising Deluxe Remaster was announced back in June, and it is set to be released on PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC on September 19. This release is only for the game’s digital version though. For players who want to get a physical copy though, the game will be released in disc form in November.
Now, Capcom has confirmed that the Dead Rising Deluxe Remaster physical version will be released in Southeast Asia on November 8, 2024. Specifically, the physical disc version will be released on PS5.
To go along with the physical version’s release, Capcom shared a new video that introduces what players can expect in this game. You can check out the new video here:
Also introduced are some important characters that Frank will meet at Willamette Parkview Mall. They include:
Brad Garrison
“A veteran agent from the Department of Homeland Security (DHS). He relies more on intuition than logic, but his performance on the ground is reliable. By chance, he ends up working with Frank.”
Jessie McCarney
“A rookie agent and Brad’s colleague, commonly known as Jessie. Unlike Brad, who is active on the ground, Jessie excels in information processing skills. She tries to compensate for her lack of experience with hard work, but sometimes it ends up being in vain.”
Russell Barnaby
“A nervous old man. He is the person Brad and Jessie are searching for. He seems to have been lured to the mall by someone and then caught up in the zombie panic.”
Prisoner
“Prisoners who escaped from the penitentiary amid the chaos of the zombie panic. They are dangerous individuals who drive around in stolen military vehicles, acting on their every desire.”
Steven Chapman
“The manager of the supermarket inside the mall. He will not tolerate anyone entering his store, which he has built up himself, and will attack with a furious expression.”
Larry Chiang
“A large man working in the meat processing plant in the mall’s basement. Despite the zombie panic, he continues to work cheerfully, but it’s unclear where he is sourcing the meat from.”
Dead Rising Deluxe Remaster will first launch on September 19 digitally for Xbox Series X|S, PS5, and PC via Steam. Then, it will launch on November 8 physically for PS5 in Southeast Asia.
