Granblue Fantasy Versus: Rising Version 1.50 adds Versusia to the roster

Version 1.50 also features the Battle Pass Round 5 and an array of balance changes.

Cygames has just released the Version 1.50 update for Granblue Fantasy Versus: Rising, and it adds the new character Versusia to the game’s roster.

While Versusia is no doubt the highlight of this new update, Version 1.50 also adds a bunch of in-game content with Battle Pass Round 5 and balance adjustments to all characters. Plus, players can also play a new mini-game for online lobbies.

Versusia, Avatar of Ruin and Rebirth Added in Granblue Fantasy Versus: Rising

Versusia is the latest character in the Granblue Fantasy Versus: Rising roster, and she can be accessed by buying the DLC pack which also comes with a Premium Avatar and badge.

The DLC is priced at USD 7.99 and comes with the following:

  • Playable character: Versusia
  • Premium Avatar: Versusia
  • Badge: Versusia
  • Figure Studio poses and expressions 1–6 for Versusia
  • Bonus item for the original Granblue Fantasy mobile game (PlayStation®5 and PlayStation®4 purchases only)

In the game, Versusia is voiced by Elizabeth Maxwell in English and Maki Kawase in Japanese. She is described as:

Versusia is an amalgamation of the divine and mortal—the god of destruction manifested in human flesh, indifferent to the Sky Realm and the lives that dwell within. Her purpose is clear: to reset a world plagued by distortions. Those who would defy her are met with a destructive fate as she mercilessly purges all who stand in her path.

Battle Pass Round 5 Details

Meanwhile, Battle Pass Round 5 features a bunch of in-game items, including character illustrations, music, badges, trophies, and more. The Battle Pass also features God Rabbit Gigamax as an unlockable reward.

Much like the Versusia DLC, the premium version of this Battle Pass is priced at USD 7.99

New Online Lobby Mini-Game and Grand Bruise! Game Mode

Finally, the new mini-game Robomi: Epic Clash is now available in online lobbies. Here, players can test their reflexes by pressing buttons as inputs appear.

Also part of the update is the new game mode in Grand Bruise! that’s called Slime Blaster. Here, players can rack up points by taking out swarms of slimes.
