Ubisoft Philippines recently opened its doors to a select group of local media and content creators for an exclusive tour of their studio in The Finance Center, Bonifacio Global City (BGC). The event provided a unique glimpse into the process of game development and showcased the studio’s impressive contributions to some of Ubisoft’s flagship titles. We got to check out what it was like inside and here’s what we saw.
Ubisoft Philippines, the first and only AAA co-development studio in the Philippines, plays a pivotal role in the global gaming landscape. The studio is home to over a hundred talented professionals specializing in art, design, programming, animation, audio, and quality assurance. Filipino developers at Ubisoft Philippines are deeply involved in the creative process, from concept and creation to game integration, making significant decisions that shape the overall player experience.
Since its establishment in 2016, Ubisoft Philippines has co-developed 12 AAA games and three downloadable content (DLC) packs. The studio’s portfolio boasts contributions to major franchises such as Assassin’s Creed Mirage, Assassin’s Creed Valhalla, Far Cry, For Honor, and The Crew 2. Recently, the team celebrated the launch of Skull & Bones and is now working on the highly anticipated Assassin’s Creed: Shadows, set to release in November this year.
