Here’s where to watch Rick and Morty: The Anime in the US, UK, and other regions.

Yes, there's a Rick and Morty anime!

After much anticipation and an array of previews, Rick and Morty: The Anime is finally coming out, and here’s where you can watch it.

For those who missed it, yes, the hit Rick and Morty cartoon has an anime series adaptation. What’s also interesting is that this isn’t the first time that the series has gotten an anime. That’s because five anime short films were released between 2020 and 2021.

The new Rick and Morty anime series is being produced mainly by Telecom Animation Film, the studio behind shows like Four Knights of the Apocalypse and the first season of Tower of God.

As for the cast, this anime features Japanese voice actors, including Yohei Tadano as Rick Sanchez and Keisuke Chiba as Morty Smith.

Where to watch Rick and Morty: The Anime in the US and other select countries

As the new anime has been promoted by Adult Swim for quite some time now, it should come as no surprise that the anime airs every week on Adult Swim. Viewers with Adult Swim in the US, UK, and other select countries can watch the show every Friday beginning August 16.

Much like other Adult Swim shows, this series will also get a streaming release on Max in the US and other select countries. The show’s episodes are expected to be available to stream on Max shortly after they air on Adult Swim.

What about for Rick and Morty fans in Asia and other regions?

Sadly for fans in Asia and other regions with no Adult Swim or Max availability, there seems to be no way of streaming the Rick and Morty anime when it premieres.

In parts of Asia, Max is unavailable, with HBO GO being Warner Bros. Discovery’s streaming platform. As of this article’s writing, there is no indication that Rick and Morty: The Anime will be released there, though the original Rick and Morty cartoon is available there.

Hopefully though, the anime will eventually get a streaming platform partner outside the West given how popular the series is.
