Just a week after its City Heroes event, Honor of Kings is gearing up for a new collaboration, this time with the fast food giant McDonald’s.
This collab was teased on the official Honor of Kings Facebook page with a teaser visual. While the teaser did not explicitly state that it’s a McDonald’s collab, it’s quite apparent that it’s a promotion in partnership with the fast food giant.
That’s because the visual features the Honor of Kings in-game map but with icons featuring McDonald’s fries, a drink, a burger, an ice cream cone, and a box of chicken nuggets.
For now, there are not a lot of details yet about the promotion, though the page confirmed in the comments that this will be a Philippine-exclusive promo.
More details about this collab will likely be shared soon on the game’s official Facebook page. For now though, we can speculate that this collab might feature activities or freebies in McDonald’s locations based on HoK’s City Heroes event. On the flip side, it might feature in-game activities featuring a McDonald’s theme.
This isn’t the first time that a popular game has collaborated with a popular fast food chain though. After all, there was the KFC x PUBG Mobile meal which came with in-game freebies with each purchase.
