At game gamescom 2024 Opening Night Live, HoYoverse shared trailers for Genshin Impact, Honkai: Star Rail, and Zenless Zone Zero. These new trailers showcase new characters and updates that players can expect soon.
To start, the trailer for Genshin Impact featured the annual major expansion that will go live on August 28. This upcoming expansion will add teh new nation Natlan that players can explore. There, powerful enemies will also be present to test players’ skills and lineups.
What’s more, the new Natlan gameplay trailer also ended with the announcement that Genshin Impact is coming to Xbox on November 20, 2024. This should be welcome news for Xbox players given that Genshin Impact has only been available on PlayStation since its release back in 2020.

Next up is the “Tales of Luofu: A New Chapter” trailer for Honkai: Star Rail. This trailer showcases the Trailblazers’s return to the Xianzhou Luofu to attend the Wardance ceremony in the Version 2.4 update.
Also shared more developments on the upcoming Fate/stay night [Unlimited Blade Works] anime collab. Specifically, the trailer shows Archer arriving aboard the Astral Express Pom-Pom. Given the popularity of Fate/stay night, this is a collab that many players are excited for when it arrives in 2025.

Rounding things out is the special video for Zenless Zone Zero which showcases the game’s latest Version 1.1 update which was released just recently. The trailer features Jane Doe, an enigmatic agent that plays a key role in the update.

Gamescom 2024 is happening now until August 25, and there, the HoYoverse booth is located at Booth C-031 in Hall 6 to where activities and events are set to take place.
