Even though the second season’s premiere will take a while, Filipino fans have a reason to experience the first season again as the Kaiju No. 8 anime is getting a Tagalog dub courtesy of Ani-One.
The upcoming Tagalog dub was revealed to be in the works via the Ani-One PH Facebook page. While there’s no trailer yet, the announcement video confirmed that the Tagalog dub version is in the works, and it looks like it will be released exclusively on Ani-One Philippines.
Also revealed in the announcement is the fact that this dub is being made in partnership with CreatiVoices Productions, a studio that has worked on dubs for a wide array of animated titles, including The Amazing Digital Circus.
For now, there’s no word yet on a complete cast and a release date for the Kaiju No. 8 Tagalog dub. As it’s in the works, it won’t be a surprise to see more details be revealed in the coming weeks and months.
Given that Kaiju No. 8 is one of the highlight shows of the Spring 2024 season, it getting a dub is great news for Pinoy fans who prefer to watch shows in Tagalog. Plus, the new dub might convince anime fans who already watched the first season to give it a rewatch.
