MPL PH Season 14 is back; bigger, and better than ever

Bigger Venue, New Teams, and Loads of Surprises for this MPL PH Season 14

Just a few weeks shy after MSC 2024 in Riyadh, the craziness of the Mobile Legends: Bang-Bang Tournament is back in full swing as the Philippines ready itself for Season 14 of the Mobile Legends: Bang-Bang Professional League (MPL) Philippines happening this August 16, 2024 and will run through 8 weekends after (Friday-Sunday). As in-studio fans pour in from previous seasons, the organizing committees at MPL PH sought for a bigger venue to accommodate more people watching live. For Season 14, MPL PH is calling Green Sun Hotel their home for 8 weekends.

The bigger venue will accommodate 300 on-site fans each broadcast day and have activities to make fans’ experience more immersive. For those interested, tickets are already being sold at a special rate.  Tickets from Week 1 to 8 for all matches will be sold at an early bird rate worth PHP 160 until 9 August, 23:59 only and  will be sold at a regular price worth PHP 200 starting 10 August.

To spice things up, 50 chest codes will be given to the first 50 ticketholders who will redeem on site, per match during the opening week. Consistent attendees during the regular season can get in-game diamonds worth 1,000! There are also in-game rewards for the first 100 fans to claim on the first day of the Playoffs at the MPL PH arena. For more on this visit MPL PH’s official website https://ph-mpl.com/ to get tickets!

Aside from a bigger venue and sweet in-game swags, fans can expect to see new storylines unfold as new teams and team composition step into the plate this August.

Enter the newly build AURORA making their inaugural debut in MPL PH S14. While a new team, we’re seeing much familiar faces as AURORA is composed of a lot of ex-Blacklist International members. “Edward” Dapadap, Kenneth “Yue” Tadeo, and Renejay “Renejay” Barcase enter the fray along with former BLCK coaches Aniel “Master The Basics” Jiandani and Dexter Louise “DEXTAR” Alaba leading the newly created team.

What does this mean for current Blacklist International? Well, they’ll need to  make a new code for their winning strategy as more than half of their team finds a new home in Aurora. Is part of the new code importing Michael “MPTHEKING” Endino and Gerald “Dlar” Trinchera  to join as BLCK’s Jungler and EXP Laner? We’ll have to watch to find out.

Lastly, I personally can’t wait to see how MPL PH Analyst Caisam “Wolf” Nopueto readies TNC Pro Team as he steps into his new role as head coach for the season. Wolf brings with him years of experience in analyzing game play and creating play predictions. But will his MPL analyst background translate well under the heat of battle?

Dylan Chia, MOONTON Games Head of Esports for the Philippines, said, “The 14th season of the MPL PH has a lot more than these extraordinary moments and reasons to look forward to; from the league’s incredibly competitive format to the entry of a new esports organization, it’s exciting to witness who will clinch the S14 title and be declared the kings of the biggest MLBB esports tournament in the country.”
MPL Philippines Season 14 is supported by Smart Communications, Inc. and Infinix as its official sponsors. Meanwhile, Index Salon and EMC Asia are this season’s Official Suppliers.
