Riot Games PH partners with PC Cafes for VALORANT Champions 2024

VALORANT Champions 2024 comes to select Philippine PC cafes!

Riot Games PH is bringing VALORANT Champions 2024 closer to the local gaming community by partnering with several PC cafes across the Philippines. This initiative aims to create vibrant community hubs where Filipino gamers can immerse themselves in the action of the biggest VALORANT tournament of the year.

VALORANT Champions is the pinnacle of competitive play in the VALORANT Champions Tour, featuring the best teams from around the globe to be the world champions. This year’s tour, which began in February, included international kick-off events, Masters tournaments in Madrid and Shanghai, and various Regional League Stages between March and July. The grand finale, Champions 2024, is currently happening in Seoul, South Korea, and will continue until August 30.

From August 1 to 30, ten PC cafes will be transformed into VALORANT Community Hubs, hosting a series of watch parties and events to celebrate Champions 2024. These hubs will provide gamers with opportunities to play, watch the tournament, and win exclusive VCT Supernova merchandise and digital codes. The participating PC cafes include Naos Esports Arena in Taft Avenue, Manila, TNC Cyber Cafe branches in Quezon City, Malolos, Morayta, Dasmariñas, and Bacolod USLS in Visayas, and Kadiliman Esports Cafe branches in Biñan, Las Piñas, Marikina, and Comembo in Taguig

“Recognizing the country’s competitive gaming culture and esports communities, we want to give players and fans more opportunities to experience and enjoy Champions 2024,” said Jason Roberto, Brand Manager for VALORANT at Riot Games Philippines.

In addition to the PC cafes, Riot Games Philippines will deploy the GG Truck in Cebu for a special watch party. University esports organizations across the country will also be hosting watch parties, providing students with the chance to enjoy the tournament and win exclusive Supernova prizes. Participating university organizations include UP Gaming Guild of the University of the Philippines, Enderun Gaming Guild of Enderun Colleges, Teletigers Esports Club of the University of Santo Tomas, Romancon Gaming of De La Salle-College of Saint Benilde, Zenith Esports of the University of the East, LPU Pirate Esports of Lyceum of the Philippines University, Wizards Circle Esports of the National University, FIT iTamaraws Esports Club of Far Eastern University, and LG Esports of Ateneo de Manila University.

VALORANT Champions 2024 has made waves with the release of its official anthem, “SUPERPOWER.” This track features South Korean pop sensations KISS OF LIFE and Mark Tuan.

Riot Games PH has tapped into the local music scene by collaborating with artists such as SB19’s Josh Cullen, Zack Tabudlo, Al James, G22, and KAIA.

“Hosting Champions 2024 in Seoul was very exciting for us given Korea’s rich pop culture and influence in the Philippines,” said Jason, a spokesperson from Riot Games Philippines. “With the rising popularity of P-pop in the country, we saw an opportunity to really amplify VALORANT’s cultural resonance for both players and fans of the esport. It’s all about uniting a diverse global community around a shared passion for quality competition and stylish gameplay that defies cultural expectations within and beyond the game.” Jason adds.

As the VALORANT Champions 2024 tournament progresses, Filipino fans can look forward to a month filled with engaging events, competitive play, and the chance to be part of the global esports event right from their local community hubs.
