Following its release announcement a few months ago, Bandai Namco has finally launched That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime ISEKAI Chronicles on consoles and PC.
In case you missed its reveal, ISEKAI Chronicles is a new game in the popular That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime anime/light novel series. While the Slime Isekai anime has appeared in a mobile game and various game collabs, ISEKAI Chronicles is the first proper console game for the franchise.
Here, fans can experience the anime’s story, though a highlight for many is no doubt the addition of a new original story that was supervised by the series’ original author.
As for gameplay, ISEKAI Chronicles features side-scrolling action that’s combined with a city building mechanic. In the game, players must develop their village with friends.
Aside from the game’s standard edition, there’s also a Digital Deluxe Edition which includes the following:
- The Base Game
- Bonus Side Quest Collection: Shopping
- Season Pass
- Season Pass Bonus
On top of this, Bandai Namco also revealed that Hinata, Veldora and Milim will be playable characters as DLC. Players can purchase the game’s Season Pass to get these characters along with new scenarios/modes and buildings when they’re released.
That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime ISEKAI Chronicles is available now on PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, Switch, and PC via Steam.
