The OPPO Reno12 F 5G launches in the Philippines on August 20

This phone promises to be a more affordable device to experience the Reno12 Series' AI features.

After the recent launch of the latest Reno lineup, OPPO announced that it is launching the Reno12 F in the Philippines next week.

The previous Reno12 launch saw the arrival of the base and the Pro model to the Philippines. Now though, OPPO is set to launch the Reno12 F, the most affordable entry in the series.

Make no mistake though, while it’s the most wallet-friendly of the bunch, it still retains the AI features that were the key highlights of the other models. For instance, it packs the upgraded AI Eraser 2.0 which lets users remove unwanted people or images in the background of their photo. There’s also the AI Studio app that lets users transform their photo into a creative avatar for use as profile pictures on social media.

Rounding out the AI features is LinkBoost, OPPO’s new tech that uses a 360º Surround Antenna solution for better connectivity, even in challenging conditions.

As for its specs, the Reno12 F 5G is powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 6300, and it comes with a 5,000 mAh battery with 45W fast charging. It also comes with a 120Hz AMOLED screen, complete with an IP64 water and dust resistance rating.

Finally, the phone packs a triple camera setup with a 50MP main shooter. Then at the front is a 32MP selfie camera. With these, the phone also promises to be a good partner for photography.

The OPPO Reno12 F 5G is coming to the Philippines on August 20. Pricing and availability details of the phone will be announced on that day.
