WP/Gaming announces WP/CONNECT, an esports and gaming workshop

WP/CONNECT is happening on August 31.

Games consulting and marketing company WP/Gaming recently announced WP/CONNECT, a workshop and networking event for gamign and esports industry professionals.

According to WP/Gaming, this upcoming event aims to “bridge the gap between education, knowledge sharing, and networking.” As such, the workshop series will feature an array of speakers who will share their insights into gaming and esports, as well as mentors who will offer practical with attendees based on the discussions.

“We are committed to creating programs that not only educate but also inspire. Our goal is to help everyone realize the incredible possibilities within the gaming and esports world. With the help of experts and professionals in the field, we are sharing knowledge and setting new standards to build something truly special. Starting this journey in the Philippines holds deep significance for us, and we’re excited to see where it takes us,” said Benson Te, CEO of WP/Gaming.

The pilot workshop is happening on August 11 with the theme of “Branding in Esports.” Speakers during the workshop include:

  • Eric Valmonte (WP/Gaming)
  • Dani Rogacion (Overdrive Studios)
  • Ralph Aligada (Globe Telecom)
  • Bryan Dacanay (Tier One Entertainment)
  • Benj Dalmacio (Level Infinite)
  • Mark Navarro (Player Two Productions)
  • Talks will be moderated by TJ Parpan (Management Consultant)

Meanwhile, attendees can learn from the following guest mentors:

The first workshop of WP/CONNECT by WP/Gaming will take place at B1 Forum, The Globe Towers BGC, from 9 AM to 9 PM on August 11, with the workshop fee priced at PHP 950.
