For those who haven’t downloaded the game yet, here are all the details on the Zenless Zone Zero file size requirements on all platforms, including PC, PS5, and mobile.
Zenless Zone Zero was launched last month, and it was an exciting release for many as it’s the latest game from HoYoverse, the studio behind mega-hit titles like Genshin Impact and Honkai: Star Rail.
As with HoYoverse’s previous games, Zenless Zone Zero will require a sizeable amount of space on your device, though perhaps not as big as Genshin Impact given that ZZZ has only just been launched.
Zenless Zone Zero GB size on PC
If PC is your preferred platform, Zenless Zone Zero will require 57 GB of space on your hard drive/SSD. Of course, you’ll need a bit of extra space – 58 GB to be exact – when downloading and installing the game. This is required for decompression according to the game’s website.
Given that the game has only been launched for a bit over a month, this space requirement is still accurate. Take note though that big updates are on the way. As such, you may want to have some extra space on your storage device.
While it won’t balloon in file size instantly, expect to need a couple more GB in the coming months as more updates are released.
Zenless Zone Zero file size on PS5
Zenless Zone Zero is also available on PS5, and it’s confirmed that the game will be exclusive to PlayStation’s console. This means players still on PS4 or on Xbox are out of luck.
For those who have a PS5 though, the game needs 55GB of space. While not the biggest, players who already have plenty of games on their console may need to consider getting an extra M.2 SSD to expand their console’s storage. This will be important as more updates get released as they’ll likely increase the game’s file size.
What about Android and iOS?
The game’s download size is around 17GB on Android.
Finally, ZZZ on mobile will also need a fair amount of space, though only around half of the size of the PC and PS5 versions.
On Android, the website recommends 20GB of free space. You’ll want to clear this amount, though the actual file size of the game currently is only 17.6 GB. Still having extra space is necessary for updates.
As for iOS, you’ll need 26 GB of space on your iPhone’s internal storage. Much like with the Android version, the actual file size should be a bit smaller, but that extra space should still be there for updates and installation.
