Bleach: Thousand-Year Blood War Part 3 gets October release date

Bleach: Thousand Year Blood War's third cour is coming in just a few weeks!

It has been nearly two years since the anime returned, and finally, Bleach: Thousand Year Blood War Part 3 has an official release date.

Specifically, Part 3 of the Bleach anime’s final arc will premiere in Japan on October 5 via TV Tokyo. As such, fans outside Japan can also expect the first episode of Part 3 to be released on streaming platforms on the 5th of October.

Alongside the announcement of the show’s return date, Thousand-Year Blood War also got a new key visual that was shared via the anime’s official X (formerly Twitter) account.

In case you haven’t caught up with Bleach’s return, the anime finally got a new season which premiered back in October 2022. Titled Thousand-Year Blood War, this anime covers the manga’s final arc, meaning it also serves as a proper conclusion to the anime series.

To animate the show, popular anime studio Pierrot returned alongside the main cast from the original Bleach anime. Interestingly, the show did not return to its previous format where new episodes aired weekly throughout the year. Instead, the anime was divided into four parts of 13 episodes each.

The first part is titled “The Blood Warfare” and aired during the Fall 2022 season. This was followed up by “The Separation” which aired in the Summer 2023 season.

Part 3 is titled “The Conflict,” and it will air from October to December 2024. For now, there’s no word yet on when the final part will be released.

As for where to watch Part 3, the show will be streamed on Disney+ internationally  Hulu in the US. For fans in Asia, the show should also be released on Ani-One Asia.
