In case you missed it, the Call of Duty: NEXT showcase happened a few days ago, and it featured a ton of new info on Black Ops 6 and Warzone.
The sheer amount of info on Black Ops 6 and Warzone isn’t too surprising considering that the showcase was over three hours long. For those who weren’t able to watch it, or for fans who want a quick recap, here are the biggest details revealed during the stream:
Global Systems
- The NEXT Showcase highlighted the systems in Black Ops 6, including Omnimovement which allows players to seamlessly chain combat maneuvers while enjoying a 360-degree range of motion. Also revealed are changes to the Gunsmith, Global Weapon Builds, and many more.
Multiplayer
- The showcase also confirmed the 16 Black Ops 6 Multiplayer maps that will be available at launch, along with the eight maps that will be playable during the Early Access Beta. There were also deep dives into Modes, Weapons, Loadouts, Operators, and more.
Zombies
- As a fan-favorite game mode, Zombies got the spotlight as well during the stream. There, new info on the Liberty Falls launch map were shared, along with details on Augments, Wonder Weapons, abd GobbleGums.
Warzone
- For Warzone, players can expect the new Area 99 Resurgence Map that’s coming to Season 1, along with an array of gameplay addtions and Mastery Camos.
Beta Rewards
- The Early Access Beta is now live, while the Open Beta is happening soon. For players participating in the Beta, they’ll be able to unlock various Beta Rewards, including two exclusive Operator skins.

Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 will be released on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X and Series S, Xbox One, and PC on October 24, 2024. The game’s Early Access Beta is happening now, with an Open Beta scheduled next weekend.
