Global brand HUAWEI has reached the top of the global wearable tech market for Q2 of 2024, as per the International Data Corporation. According to their latest findings, the company shipped 8.9 million units, capturing a 20.3% market share, marking a significant increase from 6.3 million units and 14.2% market share during the same period last year.
This achievement marks an impressive year-over-year growth rate of 42.1%, defying a slight overall decline in the global wrist-worn device market. This decline saw shipments decrease by 0.7% to 43.7 million units.
The HUAWEI WATCH FIT 3 and the HUAWEI WATCH GT 4 Series headline the surge in HUAWEI’s performance. Both of which have garnered consumer attention for their advanced features and stylish designs. The WATCH FIT 3 sports a sleek square face with a vibrant AMOLED screen and impressive health monitoring capabilities, while the WATCH GT 4 Series combines classic elegance with modern technology while including robust health tracking functions.
The brand continues to expand its presence in regions such as the Middle East, Africa, and Latin America, as it is set to launch new products on September 19. This includes the heavily anticipated HUAWEI WATCH GT 5 Series, which is expected to feature the new HUAWEI TruSense System.
