Lenovo unveils new lineup of ThinkPad AI PCs

Global brand Lenovo just unveiled their new series of AI-powered ThinkPad PCs at Lenovo Innovation World 2024, held on September 5 in Berlin, Germany. The company has joined full force in the race towards fully integrating AI in business computing for professionals navigating the digital landscape. Among the series highlights are the ThinkPad T14s Gen 6 AMD, the ThinkBook 16 Gen 7 powered by Snapdragon X Plus, and the intriguing Auto Twist AI PC proof of concept.

The ThinkPad T14s Gen 6 AMD features the latest AMD Ryzen AI technology and up to 64GB LPDDR5x RAM, promising a threefold performance boost thanks to its advanced architecture. This laptop is designed with modern professionals in mind, offering enhanced user experiences, robust security, and exceptional battery life of over 17 hours. The device is also environmentally conscious, utilizing recycled materials in its construction.

 

Meanwhile, the ThinkBook 16 Gen 7 QOY integrates advanced AI capabilities to enhance productivity and creative expression. Its sleek design and powerful Snapdragon X Plus processor coupled with a Qualcomm Hexagon NPU make it suitable for on-the-go professionals, as it also features impressive battery life and security features.

Lenovo also introduced the Auto Twist AI PC, which adapts its display based on user movements, enhancing interaction through intelligent automation. This innovative design allows for seamless transitions between laptop and tablet modes, ensuring optimal usability in various scenarios. In addition to these products, Lenovo’s ThinkShield security solutions aim to protect businesses from cyber threats, integrating advanced AI technology for endpoint protection.  As such, no specific date of release was mentioned, but there was a guarantee for their release in the near future.

The Lenovo ThinkPad T14s Gen 6 AMD will be available in the fourth quarter of 2024, with an expected starting price of P121,899. Likewise, the Lenovo ThinkBook 16 Gen 7 QOY is already available, with a starting price of P58,199.
