After the S24 series’ launch earlier this year, Samsung Philippines has finally announced the price and availability of the Galaxy S24 FE.
This is the latest entry in the S24 lineup, and it is the most affordable one in the lineup, as implied by the FE in its name (or Fan Edition). Of course, the FE does not have all the bells and whistles as the main models in the family, but it should still deliver a premium flagship experience.
As with the main S24 models, the S24 FE also features a wealth of Galaxy AI features. Some of the highlights include the AI editing options where users can take advantage of generative AI to extend images when cropping. This was one of the key AI features that were highlighted during the phone’s showcase in the Philippines.
Along with AI, the phone’s specs were also revealed. Powering the phone is an Exynos 2400e processor, a slightly different version of the SoC used in the base S24 and S24+. The phone also packs a 6.7-inch FHD+ AMOLED screen with a fast 120Hz refresh rate.
As for its cameras, the S24 FE promises to deliver great photography capabilities thanks to its 50MP wide + 8MP telephoto + 12MP ultrawide camera. At the front meanwhile is a 10MP selfie shooter.
Finally, the phone packs up to 512GB of storage, along with a 4,700mAh battery. These are key improvements over last year’s model as the S23 FE only had up to 256GB of storage and a 4,500mAh battery.
Now for its price. The Samsung Galaxy S24 FE is priced in the Philippines at PHP 39,990 for the 128GB model, PHP 44,990 for the 256GB version, and PHP 53,990 for the 512GB variant. All these models have 8GB of RAM.
As a special offer, buyers who get an S24 FE from September 27 to October 3 will get PHP 5,000 off their purchase, along with discounts on purchases of select Galaxy Watch and Galaxy Buds models.
