With Asia’s biggest gaming event just a few weeks away, Square Enix finally revealed details about its Tokyo Game Show 2024 lineup and launched its official website for the event.
Currently, the event’s official site lists all the confirmed Square Enix games that will be showcased at TGS 2o24, along with the streaming schedule dates. What’s more, the info is available in both English and Japanese, meaning even international fans can stay up to date with the latest info.
As for what to expect on the Tokyo Game Show floor, Square Enix confirmed that their booth will feature a wide array of playable demos. the highlight though is demo stations for Dragon Quest III HD-2D Remake, the upcoming Octopath Traveler-style remake of the classic Dragon Quest game.
Other demos include Romancing SaGa 2: Revenge of the Seven, FANTASIAN Neo Dimension, and Final Fantasy XIV (this demo is specifically designed for beginners). Plus, the booth will also feature various photo spots for attendees, along with exclusive merch.
Finally, there’s Square Enix’s special program which will go live via its official YouTube channel during the TGS 2024 days. This special program will highlight games, with DRAGON QUEST III HD-2D Remake being the key focus.
Tokyo Game Show 2024 is happening from September 26 to 29, 2024, at Makuhari Messe in Chiba, Japan.
