Over a month after Season 4 went live, SEGA announced the new collaboration between Super Monkey Ball: Banana Rumble and Dole.
While this collab may seem out of the left field, it does make sense given that Dole is a massive food company that’s best known for producing fruits and vegetables. Many people worldwide are likely familiar with Dole bananas given how ubiquitous they are in supermarkets, so it follows that Dole has a collab with Super Monkey Ball given that the game features bananas as collectibles.
As part of the collab, the bananas in-game will feature the Dole sticker, as you would see in your favorite grocery or supermarket.
Aside from the bananas, the game’s stages are also getting a Dole makeover, with the brand’s logo adorning various areas of select stages. Plus, there will also be new limited-edition collab items for players to get.
Specifically, the new items include a Dole T-Shirt and a Cap, both of which are available by participating in Online Battles, and there’s no need to purchase them. These items are up for grabs during the following dates:
- Dole T-Shirt: October 1, 2024 – October 14, 2024 (JST）
- Dole Cap: November 26, December 9, 2024 (JST)
