Tech brand realme just dropped its latest entry in their Note Series, the realme Note 60, now available for an introductory price of P4,999. This new model is being marketed as one of the most durable entry-level smartphones on the market, boasting features that emphasize its toughness.
The realme Note Series initially gained popularity with the release of the Note 50 earlier this year, which became a record-breaking success on TikTok Shop, selling 4,000 units almost instantly and generating P28.9 million in sales during its launch.
Following this success, the realme Note 60 underwent rigorous testing to prove its durability, including scratch, drop, and bend resistance. In a creative twist on the Filipino game Tumbang Preso, the phone was used as a projectile in place of a traditional slipper. It also survived being thrown and smashed in a rage room and was even tested as a makeshift air hockey mallet, showing no signs of wear. Additional tests included using it as a chopping board during a knife scratch test and dropping it from a height of 1.5 meters, both of which it passed without any damage. As icing on the cake, the phone features an IP64 rating for dust and water resistance and has received a TÜV Rheinland High-Reliability Certification.
The realme Note 60 is available in two striking colors—Voyage Blue and Marble Black—and comes in two storage variants: 4GB+64GB for P4,999 and 4GB+128GB for P5,999. Customers who purchase the device at realme Stores or authorized dealers from today until October 31 will receive a complimentary realme Care+ warranty, which includes an additional 1-year warranty extension worth P999, bringing the total coverage period to 2 years.
At the same time, customers can get the 4GB+128GB variant for P500 off from September 20 to October 6 in all authorized stores nationwide.
