The popular Japanese singer Ado is finally coming to Manila in 2025 as part of her massive “Hibana” World Tour. Her upcoming tour was announced recently via her official X page and by Crunchyroll (which is an official tour partner).
If you listen to J-pop and anime songs, chances are that you’re already familiar with Ado. If not, she is a singer who first gained popularity in Japan thanks to her viral track “Ussewa” which was released back in 2020. Since then, Ado has become one of Japan’s most popular singers thanks to her distinct and powerful voice.
Thanks to her popularity, Ado has been tapped to perform anime songs, including several tracks for One Piece Film: Red. She also performed the opening theme song of Spy x Family Season 2.
Ado has gone on tour outside Japan before, but this 2025 World Tour will be her biggest as it will feature stops in Asia Pacific, North America, Europe, and Latin America.
In the Philippines, Ado will perform on May 8, 2025, at the Mall of Asia Arena.
Here’s a rundown of all the tour dates and venues for Ado’s World Tour:
Despite Ado’s popularity, no one knows what Ado looks like as she, like many Japanese artists, doesn’t show her face in videos and in concerts. While she still performs live, the lighting for the concerts is made so that she can’t be seen clearly. What’s more, her concerts are strict about not allowing attendees to film her set.
The Ado live in Manila concert will likely be the same, meaning fans should avoid whipping out their cameras or smartphones during her performance.
Tickets for Ado’s Philippine concert will be available via a Crunchyroll presale on November 19 at 10 AM. Then, general selling will go live on November 22 at 10AM. For more info, visit the official World Tour website.
