Following its iOS release earlier this year, Ubisoft has finally released Assassin’s Creed Mirage on Steam, meaning players who prefer to play PC titles on Steam can now get their hands on this title.
While Assassin’s Creed Mirage was released on PC alongside the console versions, the game did not launch on Steam as it was only made available on the Ubisoft Store and Epic Games Store. Finally though, Ubisoft has released the game on Steam which is important given that the majority of players on PC use Steam as their main games library.
To go along with the launch, all editions of Assassin’s Creed Mirage (Deluxe Edition, Master Assassin Edition, Standard Edition) will be on sale, with a 50% discount available from October 17 to 24 on Steam. The offer is also live from October 22 to November 5 on the Ubisoft Store.
In case you missed it, Mirage is the thirteenth major installment in the series, and it’s a return to the roots given that it’s set in Baghdad during the Islamic Golden Age. In the game, players take on the role of Basim Ibn Is’haq, a street thief who joins the Hidden Ones.
For those who haven’t played Mirage yet, the Steam launch might just convince them, along with the fact that we won’t see the launch of Shadows. While it was set to launch later this year, the Sengoku period Assassin’s Creed entry was delayed to February 14, 2025.
