After its theatrical release in Japan, the Bocchi the Rock: Recap Part 1 movie is finally releasing in cinemas in the Philippines this week, and here is its official cinema list.
While the show’s second season hasn’t been announced yet, Bocchi fans in Japan got treated to two compilation films which were released in June and September. As their titles imply, these compilation films are essentially the episodes of season 1 stitched together to form two movies. They may not have new scenes, but they have new credits songs. Plus, they’re a way for fans to see the anime on the big screen.
For Bocchi the Rock fans in the Philippines, ODEX finally confirmed that first compilation film (called Recap Part 1) will be released in SM Cinemas on October 9. Here is the complete cinema list:

For now, there’s no word yet on Part 2’s release date, though ODEX Philippines has confirmed that the second compilation film is coming to the PH as well.
As for the anime, Season 2 is not yet in the works, though Bocchi the Rock continues to treat fans with collabs. For instance, we’ve seen collabs with Epiphone by Gibson and ABC Mart, with more likely coming soon.
