It’s only about a week left until we get our hands on Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 and Treyarch has finally released PC system requirements. If you have a relatively old rig, don’t worry, there’s still some hope. Here are the minimum specs you’ll need:
- OS: Windows 10 64 Bit (latest update)
- CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 1400 or Intel Core i5-6600
- RAM: 8 GB
- Video Card: AMD Radeon RX 470 or NVIDIA GeForce GTX 960 or Intel Arc A580
- Video Memory: 2 GB
- Storage Space: SSD required with 102 GB available space at launch
- Internet: Broadband Internet connection
But of course, if you want to take it a step further and run the game in its full potential, here’s what the developers recommend you have:

- RAM: 12 GB

If you have an AMD powered system, you can also get a little bit extra with Black Ops 6 as AMD FidelityFX Super Resolution, AMD FidelityFX Contrast Adaptive Sharpening (CAS), and FSR frame generation will be available to use at launch. These use a combination of AI-powered upscaling technologies to generate more FPS and visual fidelity without putting too much strain on your hardware.
The developers recommend that you have the latest drivers installed, depending on the brand you’re using:

- INTEL: 32.0.101.5972
You can pre-load Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 already ahead of the October 25 launch date so you can immediately jump in once it goes live. Pre-loading starts on October 21, 9 AM PT (October 22, 12 MN GMT+8), which includes the Campaign, Multiplayer, and Zombies modes. For Microsoft PC players, the game will be released regionally on October 24, between 4 AM PT and 11 PM PT (October 24, 7:00 PM GMT+8 to October 25, 2:00 PM GMT+8). As for players on Battle.net and Steam, the official release will be on October 24 at 9 PM PT (October 25, 2024, at 12:00 PM GMT+8).
