In a thrilling, action-packed weekend of professional wrestling, Dexcon is set to host two unique events in Manila this October. “Jam of the Joshis” (JOTJ) and “Dr. Gore’s Graveyard Shift Manila” will take place on October 12-13 at Brawl Pit Bulusan in Quezon City, offering fans a diverse array of wrestling entertainment. Coming off the heels of two successful showings this year, fans and newcomers alike are guaranteed to have a blast.
The weekend will kick off on October 12 with a meet-and-greet session for SVIP ticket holders at Onyang’s Café, adjacent to the venue. The Graveyard Shift event will also take place on this day. Jam of the Joshis will conclude the weekend on October 13.
The highlight of the weekend is Dexcon: Jam of the Joshis, an event dedicated to showcasing the talent of talented Asian women pro wrestlers. The main event features an international dream match, pitting “The Casual Beauty” Yuki Kamifuku from Tokyo Joshi Pro-Wrestling (TJPW), against “The Pinay Vixen” Chelsea Marie.
Kamifuku will defend both the SPW Queen of Asia Championship and the VPW Women’s Championship in this high-stakes bout.
Another noteworthy match on the card will see Alexis Lee of Singapore Pro Wrestling defending her CWE Vixen’s Championship against Joya, in an intense, brutal clash of Southeast Asian wrestling talent.
Make no mistake, the event isn’t limited to women’s matches. The SPW Tag Team Championship will be on the line as The Horrors (Dr. Gore and Da Butcherman) face off against the local favorites, The Super Friends (Super P and El Katipunero).
For fans of the unconventional, Dr. Gore’s Graveyard Shift Manila offers a unique twist on professional wrestling. This event promises to blend wrestling with the bizarre, featuring local wrestlers in unexpected roles and peculiar characters. Imagine Bizarro World, but with badass pro-wrestling.
The main event for Graveyard Shift is an “Ultra Mega Tag Team” match, pitting Dr. Gore Black and Supervillain P against WonderPatricia and MegaJD–a surefire spectacle of superhero-inspired wrestling chaos.
Dexcon: JOTJ will also feature top female talent such as Patricia Ligaya of the Superfriends and the Queen herself, Crystal. Other local stars like Jake De Leon, Robin Sane, and many more will be in attentance as well. Apart from the three title matches, watch out for the WUW PH Tag Team Championships to be defended by Turn Zero Kill (Saint John Martin and Ken Cifer). Some surprise matches are set be announced in the next few days, so stay tuned.
