In what is no doubt an unexpected collab, Garena Free Fire announced an official collab with Moo Deng, the adorable baby pygmy hippo that went viral over the past weeks.
If you’ve been on social media at any point over the last month or so, chances are that you’ve seen clips of the incredibly cute pygmy hippo from Thailand. Thanks to Moo Deng’s popularity, Garena teamed up with the Zoological Park Organization of Thailand under the Royal Patronage for an official partnership.
With this collab, Free Fire will launch official in-game collectibles that are themed after the adorable Moo Deng. To go along with the collab announcement, Garena shared an official visual of the collab.
For now, the collectibles players can expect haven’t been revealed yet, though what’s clear is that these goodies will be for Free Fire fans who love anything and everything cute. Garena also confirmed that these items will include wearables and other equipment.
Plus, Free Fire players will be able to get these items by participating in limited-time in-game activities starting this November.
More details about this collab will be released on Free Fire’s official Facebook and YouTube in the coming weeks.
While the Moo Deng collab will go live in November, fans can also look forward to a Naruto crossover that’s coming in 2025.
