HONOR to launch the ‘all-angle water resistant’ X7c in the Philippines

HONOR's new affordable smartphone promises to be splash-resistant from all angles.

After teasing the phone recently, HONOR finally confirmed that it is launching the X7c in the Philippines on November 6, 2024.

When the phone was being teased, HONOR highlighted its water-resistance which continues the brand’s trend of highlighting their new phones’ designs. For instance, this year saw HONOR showcase their other X series devices with drop and smash tests.

“We can’t wait to launch this smartphone. We have been known for our durable smartphones with viral drop and smash tests. Now, we are making noise with our water-resistant smartphone, HONOR X7c. Don’t you dare miss it and join us on November 6 as we launch this new HONOR device,” said HONOR Philippines Vice President Stephen Cheng.

While the X7c’s complete specs will be highlighted during the launch event, HONOR already confirmed some specific features. These include the X7C’s IP64 dust and water resistance rating. The phone also packs a large 6,000mAh battery which should offer well over a day of use on a single charge.

As a bonus, the phone will have 256GB of internal storage, complete with 8GB of RAM that’s paired with 8GB of RAM Turbo Technology which “borrows” memory from the phone’s storage to help it be fast and snappy even when many apps are open.

The HONOR X7c is set to launch in the PH on November 6. Its launch will go live on Facebook on that day, with pricing and availability details set to be revealed.
