MSI Philippines recently opened its new concept store in SM City Fairview, giving buyers in the northern part of Metro Manila a more accessible location to get the latest MSI tech.
To be exact, this new store is located at the mall’s Cyberzone area on the 3rd floor, and it is officially Metro Manila’s northernmost concept store. For reference, the previous northernmost store was the one in SM North EDSA. The opening of the Fairview store is good news for tech shoppers in the area, especially considering that traveling from Fairview to SM North EDSA can take quite a while, especially on weekdays.
The store’s grand opening happened on October 15, 2024. It was attended by members of the MSI team, partner dealers, media, and content creators.
After the official opening ceremony, store attendees were treated to various activities and promos. For instance, there are the Follow and Pick-a-Prize and the Snap and Win activities where participants got to take home some MSI freebies.
As for the promos, MSI had the Special Early Bird Promotion that rewarded the first 15 buyers of select devices with a GCash Cashback worth up to PHP 3,000 and an MSI Lucky Dragon Doll. Those who missed this can still get up to 35% off on select MSI laptop models until October 30.
The opening of the store was attended by LiaBear, a popular cosplayer in the Philippines. There, fans got to meet and take pictures of her.
Finally, as part of the store’s opening celebration, a Tekken 8 mini-tournament took place on October 19. There, 28 participants showed off their Tekken skills while playing the game on MSI gaming machines.
