Following its August release in Japan, the My Hero Academia: You’re Next movie is finally confirmed to be released in the Philippines soon.
The film’s PH release was revealed via the Viewer’s Choice Philippines Facebook page. This official confirmation of its Philippine release was made after a similar teaser by MediaLink Philippines.
In the announcement post, the official release date wasn’t mentioned in the text, though the movie poster indicates that the My Hero Academia: You’re Next movie will be released in the Philippines on November 11, 2024.
For now, we’ll have to wait for more info as details such as screening locations will likely be revealed in the coming weeks.
It’s also not clear yet if the movie will have a fan screening, though it will likely have one considering that most anime film releases in the country get early screenings. Again, we’ll have to stand by for more details.
In case you missed its reveal, You’re Next is the fourth My Hero Academia movie, and its story is set after the Paranormal Liberation War, meaning its story happens during the events of Season 6.
Given that the other three My Hero Academia movies aren’t exactly canon, You’re Next also likely shares this same status. Still, it should be a must-watch for big fans of the series as it promises lots of action and character moments.
