Fresh after the release of Version 1.08, Tekken 8 now has a new collab, this time with the popular battle royale shooter PUBG Mobile.
This new collab is an exciting one for fans of both games. That’s because starting now until October 31, players can enjoy a prize path event that features various in-game goodies.
As with most PUBG Mobile collabs, the highlight here is the selection of character sets for fighters like Jin Kazama, Kazuya Mishima, and Nina Williams. Players can get these via the Prize Path, and by doing so, they can play matches while their character is dressed up as their favorite Tekken characters.
Along with the character sets, the collab also features an array of emotes, as well as the specially designed Jin Kazama-themed PP-19 Bizon skin.
Finally, players can also get other Tekken 8-themed items in the prize path, including collaboration graffiti, space gifts (including a special Jin vs Kazuya edition), avatar, and avatar frame.
This collab is a bit of a surprise given that many of PUBG Mobile’s notable crossovers are with anime. On the flip side, Tekken as a collaborator makes sense given that the hit fighting game franchise has been on a crossover spree, including crossovers with the likes of Nike and Gentle Monster.
The PUBG Mobile x Tekken 8 collab is available today until October 31, 2024. For Tekken fans who aren’t playing PUBG Mobile yet, the game is available for free on the App Store and Google Play Store.
