Tech consumer brand realme is bringing unbridled hype to the mobile gaming scene with the return of the exciting realme Regional Wars. Now powered by their recently launched realme 13 Series 5G and featuring a partnership with Honor of Kings Championship 2024 (HKC 2024), this latest venture aims to deliver “Limitless Speed to Victory” through this gaming tournament collaboration.
The partnership announcement follows the designation of realme 13+ 5G as the official gaming phone for the HKC 2024. “The partnership marks a key milestone as we know how much our young users in Southeast Asia enjoy playing Honor of Kings and are in need of a powerful smartphone that satisfies their gaming moments; we are glad for the opportunity to showcase a cutting-edge smartphone that can let young users enjoy tech experiences that exceed expectations,” said realme VP and Marketing Officer Chase Xu.
The Philippines has made its mark in the HKC 2024 playoffs with two representing teams: BOOM Esports and Blacklist International. Blacklist International is scheduled to face Team Secret on October 25, leading up to the Grand Finals in Jakarta, Indonesia, on October 27.
The realme Regional Wars: Honor of Kings tournament kicked off with qualifiers across the Philippines. The series began at SM Cyberzone Challenger Series in SM City Clark, where Eureka Esports secured the North Luzon spot. Subsequent qualifiers are scheduled across major regions: NCR on October 24, Visayas (Iloilo City) on October 26, Mindanao (Davao City) on November 9, and South Luzon on November 10.
A total of 12 teams are slated to go head-to-head per qualifier, where the top eight (8) teams will proceed to the Quarter Finals on November 16. The Semi-Finals is scheduled on November 17 where the best four (4) teams will battle it out for the realme Regional Wars: Honor of Kings Grand Finals. The realme Regional Wars: Honor of Kings offers a prize pool worth P200,000 cash and products.
