While the game comes out this week, Sonic X Shadow Generations will get the Sonic Movie 3 DLC Pack this December.
In case you missed it, SEGA unveiled the Sonic the Hedgehog 3 DLC pack for the upcoming Sonic game at the September PlayStation State of Play. It will feature a skin for Shadow based on his look from the movie. More than that, this DLC also features Keanu Reeves – the voice of Shadow in the upcoming movie.
What’s also cool about this DLC is that it won’t just be a new skin and voice for Shadow as it will also feature a level set in the streets of Tokyo which serves as a setting of the movie.
This Sonic Movie 3 DLC pack for Shadow Generations will be released on all platforms on December 13, 2024. That’s two weeks before the film’s cinema release.
As for the game itself, Sonic X Shadow Generations is half a remaster of the beloved 2011 Sonic game and half a new title. That’s because the game has brand-new story levels featuring Shadow the Hedgehog, marking the long-awaited return of the fan-favorite character.
Sonic X Shadow Generations will be released on PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X|S. Xbox One, Switch, and PC on October 25, 2024. For those who buy the premium versions, the game is available on early access starting October 22.
