After premiering the second episode recently, SEGA finally released episode 3 of Sonic x Shadow Generations: Dark Beginnings.
In case you missed the release of the first two episodes, Dark Beginnings is an animated prologue for the upcoming Sonic X Shadow Generations game. This third episode is the final one, and it’s the most action-packed one as it sees Shadow, Rouge, and E-123 Omega face off against a new foe. Thus, this is a must-see for any Sonic fan who is eagerly anticipating the new game.
You can watch Dark Beginnings Episode 3 To the Ark right no on SEGA’s official YouTube channel. While the three episodes are available for free, players who pick up the PS4 or PS5 version will be able to watch an extended version of the animated prologue when the game launches.
As for the upcoming game, Sonic x Shadow Generations is an interesting release as it’s kind of like two games in one. First, it’s a remaster of Sonic Generations which itself is a greatest-hits collection of iconic 3D and 2D Sonic levels.
Then, there’s the new part of the game featuring Shadow. This package features brand new 3D and 2D levels where players take on the role of Shadow.
Sonic X Shadow Generations will be released on PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X|S. Xbox One, Switch, and PC on October 25, 2024.
