If the Metaphor: ReFantazio launch isn’t enough to excite you, then the upcoming SEGA ATLUS Festival in the Philippines definitely would!
On the official SEGA Asia Facebook page, the upcoming event was announced. There, the official dates and venues were confirmed. To be exact, the event will take place at SM Mall of Asia from December 7 to 8.
It’s not clear where in SM Mall of Asia the event will be held, though it’s likely going to take place at the Music Hall given that it is one of the bigger open spaces in the mall.
As for the activities, SEGA teased that it will feature games from the Sonic the Hedgehog series, the Like a Dragon series, and Atlus.
Given the timing of the event, it’s likely that Like a Dragon: Pirate Yakuza in Hawaii is the major draw given that it’s the next big game from RGG Studio. What’s more, the Yakuza series had an event in the Philippines earlier this year for Infinite Wealth.
Other likely games include Sonic X Shadow Generations and Metaphor: ReFantazio, both of which will have been released by the time the event comes around. Thus, these will likely be more to promote the games for those who haven’t played them yet.
